why naga

How we approach the work

Written assessment first

Before any work begins on complex repairs, we provide a written estimate. No surprises on the final invoice — what we quote is what you pay.

Pressure testing on-site

We test dive watches in our own equipment and document the result. You receive a service card showing the pressure achieved and when we suggest re-testing.

Transparent documentation

Every service is accompanied by a written record of the work completed, parts replaced, and timings recorded — useful for future servicing and for insurance purposes.

Character, not erasure

On vintage pieces, we work to preserve the watch's original surfaces rather than polish away decades of honest wear. Patina is part of the story.

Unhurried timelines

Watch servicing takes the time it takes. We communicate realistic timelines from the outset and update you if anything changes during the work.

Coastal workshop, direct service

Based on Beach Road in Pattaya, we work directly with each owner — no intermediaries, no couriers needed for local customers.

questions

What people usually ask

How long does a dive watch service typically take?
Most dive watch services — covering movement work and pressure testing — are completed within two to three weeks. If parts need sourcing or additional work comes to light during disassembly, we'll contact you before proceeding.
Do I need to book an appointment to drop off my watch?
Walk-ins are welcome during workshop hours. For vintage pieces requiring a full assessment, it can be helpful to contact us in advance so we can set aside proper time for the intake conversation — but it's not required.
What happens if you find additional issues during the service?
We stop and contact you. We'll explain what we've found, describe the options, and give you a revised estimate. No additional work is done without your agreement.
Can you source parts for older or discontinued dive watches?
Often, yes — though sourcing timelines vary. For vintage pieces, we'll be honest about which parts are available to specification and which may require period-correct alternatives. We'll present the options clearly before proceeding.
How often should a dive watch be pressure tested?
For watches used regularly in water, annual testing is a reasonable interval. If the watch is primarily a surface swimmer's piece, every two years is generally adequate. We note a recommended re-test date on your service card based on the watch's usage pattern.
Do you polish vintage watches as part of a full service?
Not unless you ask for it. Our approach on vintage pieces is to preserve original surfaces and finishes. A light cleaning is included, but polishing — which removes metal and alters the character of aged surfaces — is a separate conversation.
