Documented work, transparent pricing, and direct communication — from a workshop that keeps its scope deliberate.

Six reasons owners return
Written estimates before work
No work begins on complex repairs without a written estimate you've confirmed.
On-site pressure testing
We test in our own equipment — not a third-party facility — and provide a dated result card.
Transparent pricing
Three clearly priced services. No hidden charges. No surprise additions.
Character-preserving approach
We don't polish away the marks of use. Vintage pieces are returned looking their age, working properly.
Direct relationship
You deal with the workshop directly — no call centres, no intermediary shops forwarding your watch.
Full service documentation
Every piece returned with a written record of the work, parts replaced, and timing measurements.
expertise
Workshop experience with mechanical watches
Our founder spent nine years in workshops across Thailand before opening Naga. That experience sits specifically with mechanical and quartz sport watches — not jewellery repair, not battery replacements — the movements and cases that require proper disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
We are honest about the limits of what we take on. We don't claim expertise we don't have. If a watch needs work outside our scope, we say so clearly and can suggest where to look next.
equipment
On-site pressure testing equipment
We operate our own pressure testing equipment at the workshop. Dive watches can be tested, assessed, and returned without being sent to a third-party facility — which keeps turnaround times shorter and gives us direct knowledge of the test conditions and results.
The test result — pressure reached, time held, and date tested — is recorded on a service card and returned with every watch that undergoes pressure testing. We also note the interval at which we'd suggest retesting, based on the watch's typical usage.
communication
Direct, unhurried communication
When you drop off a watch at Naga, you speak with the person who will work on it. When something unexpected comes up during a service, we call or message directly — not through a front desk relaying information.
We don't use urgency or pressure in our conversations. If you want time to consider a repair option or get a second opinion, that's entirely reasonable. We'd rather you make a considered decision than a rushed one.
pricing
Clear pricing, no additions without agreement
Our three services are priced clearly: Dive Watch Service & Pressure Testing at ฿16,500, Bezel Insert Replacement at ฿4,400, and Vintage Sport Watch Full Service at ฿31,200. These are starting prices — complex vintage pieces may need a specific estimate — but they reflect honest, realistic costs for the work involved.
If anything found during a service would add to the cost, we stop and contact you. We don't proceed and invoice — we ask first.
outcomes
Watches that work — and continue to work
Our measure of a successful service is straightforward: the watch performs to its specification when it leaves us, and the owner understands what was done, what was found, and when to return. We're not aiming for dramatic improvements — we're aiming for reliability.
On vintage pieces, we document the service thoroughly so future technicians — whether at our workshop or elsewhere — have a clear record to work from. Good documentation makes every subsequent service easier.
comparison
How we compare to general repair shops
| Feature | Typical repair shop | Naga Timepieces |
|---|---|---|
| Pressure testing | Sent to third party, additional delay | On-site, documented result card |
| Written service estimate | Verbal quote, variable final cost | Written estimate, no surprise additions |
| Vintage watch approach | Full polish included by default | Character-preserving, polish only on request |
| Service documentation | Receipt only | Full written service record |
| Who you speak with | Counter staff, not the technician | Direct conversation with the watchmaker |
| Scope of services | Wide variety, inconsistent depth | Three focused services, done thoroughly |
distinctive features
What sets Naga apart
Coastal dive watch focus
Based in Pattaya, we see more dive watches than most inland workshops. We understand the conditions they're used in and service them accordingly.
Assessment before action
We assess before we quote and quote before we act. Every vintage service begins with a written estimate — a step that many shops skip.
Pressure test card returned with watch
A dated, written record of the test result accompanies every dive watch service. Useful for divers, insurers, and future technicians alike.
Ownership-respecting vintage work
Vintage watches are returned as they were meant to age — cleaned, serviced, not reborn. We preserve, not restore to a gleam that was never there.
