Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all watch repair and service work carried out by Naga Timepieces, operating from 89/4 Beach Road, Pattaya, Chonburi 20150, Thailand. By leaving a watch in our care or requesting a service, you agree to these terms. If you have questions before proceeding, we are always happy to discuss them.
1. Service Enquiries and Estimates
Initial estimates provided — whether by phone, email, or in person — are indicative only. A written estimate is prepared following physical inspection of the watch. This written estimate is provided before any chargeable work begins. You are under no obligation to proceed after receiving the written estimate.
If additional work is identified during the service process that was not foreseeable at the time of the initial estimate, we will contact you before proceeding with that additional work. No additional charges will be incurred without your explicit agreement.
2. Acceptance of Work
Work commences only after you have reviewed and accepted the written estimate. Acceptance may be given in person, by phone, or in writing via email. By accepting the estimate, you confirm that you are the owner of the watch or that you have authority to authorise service work on the owner's behalf.
3. Pre-Existing Condition
Naga Timepieces documents the condition of each watch at the time of intake, including visible wear, damage, and any known faults. This record is shared with you at intake and forms the basis for the estimate. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage that was present before work commenced, and our service documentation will reflect this clearly.
Older timepieces — particularly vintage watches — may present unexpected complications during service. Where a watch has aged components that carry risk of damage during legitimate service procedures (such as the removal of corroded case backs or aged crystals), we will advise you of this risk before proceeding.
4. Timelines and Communication
Estimated service durations are provided in good faith but are not binding commitments. Timelines may be affected by parts availability, the watch's condition, or the volume of work in the workshop. We will keep you informed of any meaningful changes to the expected timeline. Vintage and multi-week services are particularly subject to variability.
We ask that you provide a valid contact email or phone number so that we may reach you with updates. If we are unable to contact you regarding a necessary decision, work may be paused.
5. Parts and Materials
Where possible, we use original or period-appropriate parts. For watches where original parts are unavailable, we will advise you of the alternatives before proceeding. We do not use parts we consider unsuitable for the watch's specification without your knowledge and agreement.
Replaced parts are made available for your inspection on collection where this is practical. Parts are not retained beyond the collection date unless you request this specifically.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due in full on collection of the watch. We accept payment in cash. Please enquire at intake if you require a specific payment arrangement.
If you do not collect the watch within 60 days of being notified that work is complete, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee of ฿200 per week from that date. We will notify you in writing before applying any such charge.
7. Collection
Watches may be collected in person at our workshop during opening hours (Monday–Saturday, 10:00–18:00 ICT). We do not offer postal or courier services. Please bring a copy of your service receipt or intake documentation when collecting.
If a third party is collecting on your behalf, please notify us in advance and provide their name. We reserve the right to request identification.
8. Uncollected Watches
If a watch has not been collected within 180 days of notification of completion, and we have made reasonable attempts to contact you without response, we reserve the right to treat the watch as abandoned. In such cases we will make a further written attempt to contact you before taking any further action. We will not dispose of any watch without having made documented, good-faith efforts to reach the owner.
9. Liability
We take our work seriously and handle all watches with care. However, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the cost of the service work carried out. We do not accept liability for the market value of the watch, sentimental value, or consequential losses of any kind.
We strongly recommend that high-value watches are covered by your own insurance while in our care. We can provide a condition report and service record for insurance purposes on request.
10. Warranty on Completed Work
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If a fault develops in the work we have carried out within 90 days of collection — and that fault is attributable to our service rather than to subsequent misuse, accidental damage, or external factors — we will address it at no additional charge. This applies to the work performed, not to the watch's components beyond our service scope.
This warranty does not cover wear that develops through normal use, damage caused after collection, or faults unrelated to the service carried out.
11. Photographs and Documentation
We photograph watches at intake and during the service process for our records. These images are used internally and are not shared publicly. You may request copies of your watch's documentation at any time.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from our services will first be addressed through direct discussion. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes will be referred to the appropriate jurisdiction in Chonburi Province.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time your watch is accepted into our care will apply to that service engagement. The current version is always available on our website.
